Some killer bits of copy for your holiday promotions!

Nov 18

Hey,

So there’s been a lot of buzz lately about how to create promotions/marketing for the upcoming holiday season. Especially in the fitness professionals community.

In light of this, here are some killer bits of copy to plug into your e-mails, websites, newspaper ads, in conversations with prospects, and anywhere else!

  • Don’t let Thanksgiving split you from your skinny jeans!
  • Eat all you want this Thanksgiving and feel confident that you won’t gain a pound with this [location] personal training program/ boot camp
  • Holiday blow out/sale/limited time offer
  • This is such a good deal that it might run me out of business!

  • This sale is so good my friends are calling me crazy!
  • Don’t tell any of my clients that you’re getting such a good deal on this…
  • That Thanksgiving turkey might weigh over 10 pounds – but you won’t even gain one!
  • Introducing the Thanksgiving “Stay in Your Skinny Jeans” Program
  • Introducing the “Keep Your Six-Pack this Thanksgiving” Program
  • Introducing the “Eat all you want and don’t gain a pound” Thanksgiving Program
  • This Christmas you’re going to eat a lot… Heck, who isn’t? But did you know that you can eat to your heart’s content and not worry or feel guilty about gaining a ton of weight? Here’s how…

Here’s a really killer tip too…

On the advertising you’re currently running (your website, Craigslist ads, etc.) – you can change the headline to be about the holiday season, but keep the rest the same.

That way you’re connecting with the fears people have about gaining weight over the holiday season without going in and creating an entirely new website or set of ads.

Because think about it for a second… the reasons people want to get in shape stay the same no matter what time of year it is. Thanksgiving feasting is just an excuse to get back in the gym. So take advantage of this and change up your headlines.

Of course if you’re really ambitious, you can create a whole website/ad campaign just for this holiday season. The disadvantage to that is it’ll take a bit of time to put together, but the advantage is you can use it year after year after year.

Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. Thanks David! Great Stuff!! :)

I did a little of both – incorporated a little “holiday” into my regular boot camp page and added a new holiday special page.
